Former Ace Of Bace member Jenny Berggren has plans to release a solo album this year. Berggren left the band in 2009 – two years after her sister (Malin) left. She has released a buzz track called “Free Me” as a lead up to the official first single. Listen to it below.

Ace Of Base have hired two new female singers and plan to release a new album in the Spring or Summer of 2010. One of the rumored new singers is Clara Hagman, a former contestant on Swedish Idol.

Ciara Corr’s debut single “Get My Way” is starting to gather steam. It has been picked up by radio stations Jamz 96.3 in Albany, U-92.7 FM in Palm Springs California and B96 FM in Chicago. In addition to radio play, the music video will be played at 1200 Foot Lockers across the United States starting in April.

Corr’s music is a hybrid of pop, dance, hip hop with a touch of old school freestyle. This could be an indication of great things to come.
