Lady Gaga ticket prices have doubled for her newly announced UK Monster Ball tour dates.
Gaga announced three new shows in May at London’s O2 arena, Birmingham’s LG Arena and Manchester’s MEN Arena. Tickets will be sold for £50 and £75 even though tickets to previous shows were £27.50 and £35.
Arthur Fogel, Live Nation’s chairman of global touring, told the BBC: “What was a small arena/theatre production is now a massive, first-rate arena production.
“Ticket prices for the previous dates were set long before the current ‘Monster Ball’ show was developed. Ticket prices are comparable and fair.”
Tickets will go on sale March 12, 2010 here.

Tickets for the V Festival went on sale Friday morning but were sold out in an hour and a half. The festivals director, Bob Angus, said: “Selling out in 1.5 hours is true testament to the passion of our fans and success of V Festival’s 15th anniversary.”
The festival will include performances by Pet Shop Boys, Stereophonics, Faithless, The Prodigy, David Guetta, Cheryl Cole, Kings Of Leon, Kasabian and The Prodigy.
Packages that include coach travel and tickets are still available. Visit www.vfestival.com for more details.
