According to reports, Robbie Williams will release another Greatest Hits collection to celebrate 20 years in the music industry. It will mark the end of his contract with EMI Records.
Williams last hits collection was released in 2004, and became the best selling album in the UK that year. It managed to sell 320,000 copies in its first week.
Labels are already lining up to sign Williams when his contract with EMI is complete.
Edwyn Collins is planning to release a new song called ‘I’m Feeling Lucky’. It will be his first new song since suffering from a stroke in 2005.
Collins wrote the song for the collaborative album Mavis, out February 22, 2010. The album was inspired by Mavis Staples and features production by Ashley Beedle and Darren Moore. Mavis will include contributions from Candi Staton, Sarah Cracknell and Cerys Matthews.
Scottish singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald has premiered the music video for her single “Don’t Tell Me That It’s Over”. The single is the first taken from her for second studio album A Curious Thing, out March 08, 2010 via Mercury Records.

Lily Allen is planning a big entrance for her BRIT Awards performance, by arriving on stage by plane.
A source told the Mirror: “Everyone had to submit their set designs this week so the organizers could see how the show was going to work. She wants it to involve flying.
“At the moment the idea is to arrive on the BRITs stage in a plane. It’s all still work in progress at the moment but they are doing everything they can to make it work.”
“It will cost a fortune, but it looks like it will be her last music awards show for a long time because she is planning to retire for a few years after this so it’ll be worth it.”
According to sources, we could see a new album from Michael Jackson this year. The material was recorded between 2001 and 2009, and will include tracks not used on the Invincible album.
The album is expected to be released between June-August of this year.
